CCMC currently has a part time Community Ambassador position at Durham Farms Hendersonville, TN!

Under direction of the Community Manager, The Community Ambassador is responsible for working weekends. Duties include entry desk operations including providing community overview of the Freehold Vital Communities™, membership and prospect registration, community information dissemination and assisting guests by phone and in person. The Community Ambassador will be responsible for operating and maintaining the on-site Café, including ordering inventory items, greeting and serving guests, ensuring the café meets health department requirements, handling the cash drawer, and maintaining cleanliness.

The Community Ambassador will work closely with the marketing manager to execute marketing goals for the community and facilitate communication with builders, realtors and prospective homebuyers. The Community Ambassador will be responsible for attending trade show events, community events, and marketing events as needed. The Community Ambassador will be responsible for conducting marketing research as needed and completing data entry daily.

Daily responsibilities will include: greeting members and guests as they enter and answering any questions they may have, routinely touring the facility while interacting with homeowners and prospective buyers, following the standard operating procedures for the community ambassador position, on a daily basis complete the checklist to ensure the facility is properly opened and closed as well as providing administrative support to the community manager and marketing manager as needed. Additionally, the Community Ambassador will engage in networking events within the area to promote Durham Farms as well as assist the Lifestyle Director on occasion with lifestyle programs, events and promotion as assigned and assisting with facility set-up and takedown for various events.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service and/or marketing focused environment, excellent project management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Must have the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with staff, residents, prospective buyers, volunteers, and vendors as well as strong conflict resolution skills. Additionally, must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to develop, design, and implement programs on a computer using Microsoft Office and others as assigned. Candidate must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, perform physical labor, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to work weekends, nights and holiday’s if needed.

***Primary work days will be Saturday and Sunday***

Located in the Nashville suburb of Hendersonville, Durham Farms possesses a relaxed, small-town vibe.  This neighborhood will ultimately include 1,100 households and feature quiet, tree-lined streets, generous green space, front porches, playgrounds, neighborhood parks, walking trails, clubhouse, café and community pool.
