CCMC currently has a part-time Community Standards Associate position at Anthem Ranch in Broomfield, CO.
Under the direction of the Community Standards Coordinator, conduct inspections of residential properties within the association to determine if violations of deed restrictions exist with specific reference to property maintenance and aesthetics. Serve as liaison between homeowners, residents, and the Design Review Committee.
The Community Standards Associate will visually inspect residential properties for compliance with deed restrictions; interpret and enforce property maintenance codes, regulations, and design guidelines; work effectively with homeowners to ensure compliance when violations are found; coordinate duties with the Community Standards Coordinator to ensure the effective use of time; maintain accurate records of complaints and inspections made; prepare effective reports and other written communication; operate personal computer for word processing; communicate courteously and effectively with the public, officials and other employees, in person, in writing, and by telephone; Conduct weekly inspections of residential properties for compliance with design guidelines; send out weekly violation letters to residents in violation of community guidelines; weekly filing of architectural and violation letters to lot file folders; assist in the creation and adoption of violation policies based upon the Community Association Governing Documents and State Statutes; prepare and submit a Community Standards summary report on a weekly and monthly; act as community liaison for Trash and Recycling Services for the community; track and coordinate the fine process, including notifications, verifications, written correspondence, file maintenance and providing documentation for Accountability Committee; attend hearings as scheduled by the Accountability Committee; maintain accurate documentation of complaints and inspections; assist Community Standards Coordinator with other tasks.
The ideal candidate will have three years of related work with a combination of education and customer service experience; demonstrated proficiency in language skills-oral/written communication and interpretation of data; demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in dealing with homeowners; conflict resolution; demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; have a valid driver’s license and insurance; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with Board, staff, residents, volunteers and contractors; extensive knowledge of covenants and design guidelines and ability to interpret and apply knowledge to position responsibilities; required attendance at Association Annual meetings, monthly Board of Directors meetings, and select Committee meetings; excellent “people” skills and attention to detail Strong organizational skills and habits Strong computer skills in Windows Office programs; ability to quickly learn 3rd party software.
Work is undertaken both indoors in an office environment and outdoors conducting field inspections. Employee must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and walk long distances over varied terrain in order to inspect properties. Property inspections may be conducted during daylight hours and after dark.
