CCMC currently has an IT Administrative Assistant position available in their office in Celebration, FL!

The IT Admin will provide primary support level 1 technical issues such as username/password issues, menu navigation, installation issues, and setup. Other responsibilities include collaborating with IT members to resolve technical issues above and beyond their skill level and coordinating and ensuring the proper setup for ongoing community events.

Proper record-keeping of network configurations, peripheral specifications, and hardware inventory are some of the administrative responsibilities assigned to this role. Other administrative duties may be assigned by the Executive Director, Community Manager, or IT manager as needed.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have strong written and verbal skills, strong customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and the ability to meet deadlines. This individual will also need to be a self-starter and work independently to meet the IT department’s goals. They will also need to be proficient in all Microsoft Office platforms, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and Windows. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for computer troubleshooting is also required for this role. An Associate’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or two years of experience in a related field or IT certification are required.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with people and have the ability to remain calm, friendly, and professional. The ability to establish and maintain a positive relationship with residents, guests, and staff is essential.

Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required. All prospective employees must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
