CCMC Serves 13 Top ‘Ranking Arizona’ Master-Planned Communities

Publisher AZ Big Media recently released the results of the 2021 Ranking Arizona Survey, which recognizes the top Arizona businesses in a variety of industries. We’re proud to announce a total of 13 communities we serve placed among the best Master-Planned Communities.

For the eighth consecutive year, Vistancia in Peoria held its place as No. 1 in Master-Planned Communities (2,300 Homes or More). The announcement read, “Set among a stunning backdrop of mountain ranges with views of the natural Sonoran Desert, Vistancia offers some of the best in new home options and community living.”

Ironwood Crossing in Queen Creek reclaimed its spot at the top of the Master-Planned Communities (2,299 Homes or Fewer) category, which it previously held in 2019. The announcement said this of community developer Fulton Homes, “Fulton Homes builds and develops mostly master-planned communities from 400 homes to over 2,100. Fulton Homes also gives back to the community, and Ira Fulton is the largest philanthropist in the state.”

Shelby Peralta Named CCMC Chief Human Resources Officer

CCMC is pleased to introduce Shelby Peralta as its first Chief Human Resources Officer. “Throughout her career, Shelby has demonstrated her effectiveness as a transformational leader,” states CEO Todd Davidson. “Using a unique ‘head-and-heart’ approach, she combines human considerations with data and metrics to create smart, respectful, client-centric strategies.”

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Shelby brings nearly three decades of comprehensive Human Resources leadership experience to CCMC. She earned a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Colorado and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Colorado State University. Recognized as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Shelby’s professional history includes strategic roles in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and business services organizations. Most recently, she served as Chief People Officer for FastMed Urgent Care and led a cultural transformation focused on Compassionate Hospitality

CCMC Announces Leadership Succession Plan for Chief Financial Officer

After more than a dozen years with CCMC, Chief Financial Officer & President of Shared Services Mary Ann Hopf has announced her plan to retire in April.

“It’s hard to quantify Mary Ann’s incredible impact on CCMC,” says CEO Todd Davidson. “Over the years, she has leveraged her knowledge and experience to strengthen our company’s infrastructure. Her influence has allowed our company to grow and mature successfully. Most importantly, she has personified our core values of integrity, respect, service, and community; and grown a team that does the same. All along, she has been coaching and developing one particular person to succeed her as CFO. This is a testament to her leadership and vision.”

CCMC is pleased to announce the promotion of Kim Wiebelhaus. Kim will succeed Mary Ann Hopf as CFO. In her role, Kim will oversee our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Community Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Systems and Integrations, and Treasury teams. Over the next few months, Kim will work directly with Mary Ann to transition into her new role.

Kim’s CCMC story began in 2004 when she joined the team as an Accounts Receivable specialist. Her career path has led to several promotions and roles, including community accountant, community controller, director of Financial Services, and since 2015, vice president of Financial Services. Originally from Wisconsin, Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

“I couldn’t be more proud to announce Kim’s promotion,” shares CEO Todd Davidson. “Starting as a quiet force of accuracy and precision, Kim has grown into a skilled mentor and strategic leader of our Financial Services team. Her history with CCMC perfectly demonstrates the opportunity that exists within our company for those who are accountable, intentional, and lead by serving,” explains Todd.

“The CCMC leaders who have coached and guided me over the past 16 years have been incredible examples of integrity and community,” shares Kim. “I would like to personally thank Mary Ann for helping me grow in knowledge and confidence, and Todd for entrusting me with these new responsibilities. The COVID-19 pandemic didn’t slow down home sales in the nation’s top master-planned communities, as sales in the top 50 best-selling communities increased 20 percent from 2019. CCMC proudly serves seven of last year’s 50 Top-Selling Master-Planned Communities, as identified by RCLCO Real Estate Advisors.

Jeremy McClain Named Mountain Division President

Tony Ledvina joined CCMC in 2000 and has served as division president for the past 14 years. Since May 2019, he has provided leadership and oversight to all communities that we serve in Nevada, Utah, and Colorado. Now, Tony has announced his plans to retire at the end of this year.

“Naming Tony’s successor has been a challenging task,” explains CEO Todd Davidson, “The breadth and depth of his experience simply cannot be matched. Fortunately, we did not have to look any further than our own doors.”

CCMC has named vice president Jeremy McClain as Tony’s successor. Jeremy has begun a gradual transition to his new role, starting with oversight for division lifestyle services and all Nevada operations. Over the next 12 months, his scope will expand to include Colorado and Utah. 

“CCMC has a long history of internal leadership promotion. Our intentional succession planning ensures smooth and successful transitions for our clients and team members,” explains Todd.

“We are very pleased to announce Jeremy’s promotion,” Todd continues. “A 10-year veteran of CCMC, he embodies our core values of integrity, respect, service, and community; and he has trained our team members to work as a cohesive force. A thoughtful consultant and trusted leader, he will be an incredible resource for our employees and clients.”     

Originally from Las Vegas, Jeremy joined CCMC in 2010 with a background in project and construction management. He first served as facilities director for Mountain’s Edge in Las Vegas. In August 2013, he was promoted to community manager for Inspirada in Henderson, Nevada. He was named director of client fulfillment in 2016 and vice president in 2017.

Jeremy is recognized as a CMCA by Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB) and holds the coveted PCAM designation from Community Associations Institute (CAI).

“I am honored and humbled to accept this new role and continue our legacy of service in the Mountain Division,” says Jeremy. “It’s a great privilege to play a role in the success of our people and our communities.”

CCMC Names David Atrostic Chief Information Officer

As CCMC matures, we continue to evolve our structure to ensure the long-term satisfaction of our clients and support for our team members. To this end, we are creating a Chief Information Officer role to leverage new technologies and optimize existing ones that align with our business strategy and goals.

We are pleased to welcome David Atrostic to CCMC. In his new role as CIO, David will lead our IT team in developing and executing a company-wide technology strategy. “We are thrilled to welcome an experienced business technology leader like David as our first CIO,” explains CEO Todd Davidson. “From our initial meeting, I knew he was a great fit for CCMC. His knowledge and insights will help guide the overall technology direction for CCMC.”

Originally from Lancaster, Ohio, David brings two decades of comprehensive technology leadership experience to CCMC. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP). He recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer of Execute to Win, a consulting company committed to helping organizations align intentional leadership, strategy, execution, and culture. His previous roles include VP Technology and CIO for Able Aerospace, Vice President of Information Technology for Axon, and Senior Director of Enterprise Infrastructure for Ports America. David is a volunteer advisory board member and speaker for HMG Strategy and the Arizona Technology Summit. In 2015, he received the ComputerWorld Premier 100 Leaders Award.

Remi Almani Named Lifestyle Director of the Year by Home Builders Association of Greater Austin

Bryson, Headwaters Also Earn Masterplan Community of the Year Honors

The Home Builders Association of Greater Austin revealed its winners for the 2020 Marketing and Advertising Excellence (MAX) Awards, and we’re proud to announce CCMC team members and communities, along with our developer partners, were well represented.

Remi Almani, lifestyle director at Headwaters in Dripping Springs, earned the coveted Lifestyle Director of the Year award, while Travisso in Leander, under the guidance of lifestyle director Candice Roy, was named Best Lifestyle Program for a Community.

Headwaters also took home honors as the Best Masterplan Community of the Year (600 Acres or More) and Best Sales/Welcome Center. Bryson in Leander was named Best Masterplan Community of the Year (Under 600 Acres).

Additionally, Bryson developer Johnson Development earned recognition as Developer of the Year, while the community was recognized for a number of awards, including Best Website, Best Social Media Program/Campaign, Best Special Event, Best Billboard and Best Overall Ad Campaign.

“I am extremely proud of the work our teams in all of these communities continue to do,” said Central Division president Andy Babbitt. “They focus on providing the highest-quality service possible and building genuine relationships with residents, and it’s great to see those efforts recognized with such-deserved awards. CAI Nevada Recognizes CCMC as Best Large Management Company of the Year

We’re proud to announce CCMC earned recognition as the Large Community Management Company of the Year from the Nevada Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI).

Along with this honor, Shani Fazzi, assistant community manager at Red Rock Country Club, earned the prize for Association Management Specialist (AMS) of the Year.

CCMC Announces Leadership Succession

• Todd Davidson Assumes Role of Chief Executive Officer
• D. J. Cole Retires as Chief Executive Officer; Continues as Chairman

Continuing a tradition of internal leadership promotion, Todd Davidson, current Chief Operating Officer and President, becomes the fourth CEO in CCMC’s 47-year history. Todd succeeds D. J. Cole as Chief Executive Officer on May 1, 2020. D. J. was named CEO in 2013 and he remains with the company in the role of Chairman. The company’s planned leadership succession was announced to employees and clients on February 13, 2020.

Todd has been a member of the CCMC family for the last 17 years, serving in a variety of leadership roles and markets. Prior to his appointment as COO in 2018, Todd served as Central Division President beginning in 2011. Under his exceptional leadership, the division nearly doubled in size and expanded into new markets. In 2003, Todd joined the team as our first Club Director for Estrella in Goodyear, Arizona. Two years later, he was promoted to Assistant Community Manager. The following year, he was promoted to Community Manager for Vistancia in Peoria, Arizona. In 2008, he was named Vice President.

“I am extremely excited for Todd and CCMC as he takes on this new role,” says D. J. “A familiar face to our clients and team members, Todd lives and breathes the CCMC vision, mission, and purpose. His ability to connect people, purpose, and strategy in order to produce meaningful results will serve him well in his new role. It has been my honor and privilege to serve as CEO of this great company and work alongside such dedicated, passionate team members, association board members and business partners.”

Company founder and Chairman Emeritus, Ed Boudreau added, “Todd exemplifies the tradition of distinguished service over many years, producing consistently outstanding results. We are blessed to have this great combination of leadership traits in our new CEO. We thank D. J. for his leadership and his steadfast commitment to our team members and clients.” Todd stated, “I am honored to be named the next CEO of CCMC, and want to thank Ed and D. D. J. joined CCMC in 2007 as chief financial officer and president. During his tenure the company achieved tremendous growth in the number of communities and households served along with record levels of client satisfaction and retention. CCMC also expanded the number of regional offices from three to nine, launched its HomeWorks charitable giving program and implemented a bonus plan covering all full-time and part-time employees companywide. Before joining CCMC, he served in chief financial officer roles for Cold Stone Creamery and telecommunications provider AG Communication Systems.
