At CCMC, we love to see our people and our communities shine. So we were thrilled to learn that The Hollows received three distinguished awards from Community Associations Institute (CAI) Austin Chapter. Please join us in congratulating the Board of Directors and our CCMC team on the following honors:
Community of the Year
This honor recognizes the top community association in the greater Austin area that demonstrates overall excellence and innovation. The Community of the Year is awarded for exceptional collaboration between community management and the board of directors for the purposes of preserving property values and protecting community assets. “During my eight years in this industry, I have never experienced such a wonderful balance of support from committee and board members,” explains community manager Karen Waryas. “We act as partners, investing our time in each other and in this community.”
Board Participation
This award acknowledges community associations with board members who proactively participate in their roles in and responsibilities for the association. At The Hollows, this means carefully preparing for all board and annual meetings in a thoughtful and engaged manner.
Financial Health
This award recognizes communities that have made great strides to improve their financial stewardship and overcome financial obstacles to obtain a healthy and balanced budget, along with adequate reserve finding. By renegotiating contracts, the association was able to save $11,000 and has maintained a delinquency rate that is less than 5%.
Community Associations Institute (CAI) is a national organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, competent, harmonious community associations. For more than 40 years, CAI has been the leader in providing education and resources to the volunteer homeowners who govern community associations and the professionals who support them.
