CCMC Announces Leadership Succession

• Todd Davidson Assumes Role of Chief Executive Officer
• D. J. Cole Retires as Chief Executive Officer; Continues as Chairman

Continuing a tradition of internal leadership promotion, Todd Davidson, current Chief Operating Officer and President, becomes the fourth CEO in CCMC’s 47-year history. Todd succeeds D. J. Cole as Chief Executive Officer on May 1, 2020. D. J. was named CEO in 2013 and he remains with the company in the role of Chairman. The company’s planned leadership succession was announced to employees and clients on February 13, 2020.

Todd has been a member of the CCMC family for the last 17 years, serving in a variety of leadership roles and markets. Prior to his appointment as COO in 2018, Todd served as Central Division President beginning in 2011. Under his exceptional leadership, the division nearly doubled in size and expanded into new markets. In 2003, Todd joined the team as our first Club Director for Estrella in Goodyear, Arizona. Two years later, he was promoted to Assistant Community Manager. The following year, he was promoted to Community Manager for Vistancia in Peoria, Arizona. In 2008, he was named Vice President.

D. J. joined CCMC in 2007 as chief financial officer and president. During his tenure the company achieved tremendous growth in the number of communities and households served along with record levels of client satisfaction and retention. CCMC also expanded the number of regional offices from three to nine, launched its HomeWorks charitable giving program and implemented a bonus plan covering all full-time and part-time employees companywide. Before joining CCMC, he served in chief financial officer roles for Cold Stone Creamery and telecommunications provider AG Communication Systems.
