CCMC Manager Named “Manager of the Year”

CCMC Community Manager, Kristine Nau

Meeting needs. Finding solutions. Demonstrating heart. That’s what CCMC is all about! So it comes as no surprise that three CCMC managers were recently recognized by the Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM) at the Guiding Excellence in Management (GEM) Awards ceremony. Designed to highlight the individual efforts of CAAM®-certified managers, GEM Award winners and nominees represent the high standards of both their company and the communities they serve. “CCMC is delighted to have our managers recognized in this way,” explains division president Delores Ferguson, “They represent our firm’s commitment to excellence and our dedication to improving the quality of life in American neighborhoods.”

This year, AACM’s “Manager of the Year” GEM was awarded to Kristine Nau. Kristine joined CCMC in 2005 as community manager for Spectrum at Val Vista in Gilbert, Arizona. During her tenure, she has increased resident services, while reducing association expenses by 13%. This savings has since been reinvested into the community and a new community center is currently under construction. The grand opening is set for next month. “Our goal was to create a new amenity that would add value to the neighborhood, without increasing assessments. We have proven this possible — even in a down economy,” says Kristine.

Also nominated for “Manager of the Year” was Lisa Lundskow. Lisa joined CCMC in 2008 and now serves as the community manager for Estrella in Goodyear, Arizona. Carrie Lienhart was nominated for the “Humanitarian” GEM for planning a community memorial service for a beloved neighbor. Carrie has been on the CCMC team since 2004. She is the assistant community manager at Vistancia in Peoria, Arizona.

Congratulations to all our CCMC GEMs!
