CCMC’s presence in Colorado continues to grow. In 2018, we will begin providing district management services to the Leyden Rock Metropolitan District in Arvada. The Leyden Rock community was created with active families in mind, and more than 60 percent of the community is open space. Amenities include 17 miles of trails, neighborhood parks, a pool and a clubhouse. The community will build out to 1,500 homes.
The Metropolitan District functions similarly to a community association, as a board of directors governs daily operations to manage certain aspects of the community. The state of Colorado permits these organizations as a means to finance community planning and manage critical infrastructure, such as streets and certain utilities.
“We’re excited to expand our services in Colorado with this addition,” said division president Delores Ferguson. “A special thank you to vice president Denise Hogenes, whose work to develop strong relationships with our partners in Colorado led to this recommendation. Denise and the entire Colorado team have gone above and beyond to ensure each of our communities in the region feel like home.”
District management services begin in January. The search for a manager will begin immediately.
