CCMC is proud to announce that vice president Andy Babbitt has been selected to serve on the newly-formed Lifestyle Residential Development Council-55 for the Urban Land Institute (ULI), a multidiscipline real estate forum dedicated to creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide through the responsible use of land. With more than 30,000 members, ULI is recognized as one of the world’s most respected sources of information regarding urban planning, growth and development. As a national council member, Andy will join an elite network of developers, land planners, and other professionals who, like CCMC, have a specific expertise in active adult lifestyle communities and are recognized as industry leaders who offer innovative application in their respective fields. “It is quite an honor for me to represent CCMC among national leaders in the active adult world,” says Andy.
About ULI: Today, ULI has more than 25 U.S. Product Councils, each with its own narrow focus. These councils offer industry leaders various opportunities to exchange information and share best practices. Council members play a critical role in building communities, developing neighborhoods, bringing residential and recreation spaces to life, and designing facilities that are sustainable environments. Each member has a high level of commitment and responsibility to his or her council. This may include presenting, advising, publishing, educating, researching and serving.
