New Year Opens New Chapter for CCMC

D. J. Cole 2January 2014 marks a new chapter in the CCMC story as D. J. Cole, who joined the firm in 2007 as Chief Financial Officer and President of Shared Services, begins a new role as Chief Executive Officer. Just as it has for the past 40 years, CCMC will continue to provide community association management services that put people first, by creating the lifestyle experiences we have become known for. We look forward to D. J. leading us in our continued commitment to exceptional service, industry innovation, and unmatched client satisfaction.

Originally established in 1973, CCMC was founded by Ed Boudreau with a commitment to providing clients with outstanding community association management and unparalleled service. Ed’s integrity and dedication established our reputation of excellence. Ed continues to provide guidance to the firm as Chairman Emeritus.

D. J. has more than 30 years of financial and leadership experience. He has the unique ability to connect strategy, numbers and people to achieve successful results for clients, shareholders and employees. In D. J.’s first role at CCMC he was able to enhance reporting, upgrade systems and reorganize the team, all with one mission in mind: to serve CCMC customers better. This led directly to his promotion to Chief Operating Officer in 2013. Now one year later, as Chief Executive Officer he will continue to look for ways to improve and simplify. “I am honored to lead CCMC as we pursue our purpose of building community by bringing people together in the neighborhoods where they live and in the offices where we work,” he says.

Before joining CCMC, D. J. served as Chief Financial Officer of Cold Stone Creamery. During his three years at Cold Stone, D. J. built and led the in-house finance, accounting and information technology teams during the company’s significant growth from 900 U. S. locations to 1,450 locations around the world. He also served five years as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Administration for AG Communication Systems, a developer and manufacturer of advanced products for telecommunications service providers. D. J. earned an MBA in financial management and business policy from the University of Chicago and a degree in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. He spent three years in the audit practice of Arthur Andersen and holds a CPA certificate. D. J. is also recognized as a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) by the Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB)He is a past board member and program director of the Arizona Chapter of Financial Executives International.
